Two Best Selling Authors Coming to Charleston County Public Libraries This Saturday

This Saturday, June 25th, Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) will be hosting two best selling authors at library branches for free book signing events.

Here’s a look at the schedule:
  • Search For Treasure with Angela May
    • 10 am at the Bees Ferry West Ashley Library (3035 Sanders Rd)
    • Join New York Times Bestselling Author Angela May for the release of her second book in The Islanders series, Search For Treasure, co-written with Mary Alice Monroe. Angela May will talk about her inspiration for the book, share how to make your own nature journal, and personalize copies of the book
    • Advance copies of the book may be purchased from Blue Bicycle Books here
  • A Conversation with Stacy Willingham
    • 11 am at the Wando Mount Pleasant Library (1400 Carolina Park Blvd)
    • Discussion and signing with New York Times best-selling author Stacy Willingham about her debut book, A Flicker in the Dark. This thriller is about Chloe, a psychologist whose father is in prison for killing six teenage girls. When girls go missing again 20 years after her father was sent to prison, Chloe begins to see parallels. The book has been optioned by actress Emma Stone for an HBOMax series. This in-person event will take place at Wando Mount Pleasant Library where Stacy will be discussing and signing books. This event is in partnership with Park Circle bookstore Itinerate Literate, who will be selling copies of the book for purchase at the event. Space is limited.
