Charleston VA and RiverDogs Partner to Give Back to Lowcountry Veterans at The Charleston Fisher House

The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System and the Charleston RiverDogs will hold their first joint in-person event since the onset of Covid-19 on July 7th from 11 am until 1 pm at the Charleston Fisher House.

The RiverDogs are scheduled to visit with Veterans at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Fisher House, while also providing a food truck and backyard games for the Veterans.

The Charleston Fisher House, located at 150 Wentworth Street, is designed as a no-cost lodging options for Veterans who are receiving medical treatment and provides a home away from home. The Fisher House provides temporary lodging in a comfortable and relaxed setting, only a few blocks away from the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Downtown Charleston.
