Lowcountry Oyster Company Expands Farm Tour Program
South Carolina’s largest oyster farm, Lowcountry Oyster Company, announced today the expansion of its farm tour program with added dates, time slots, and a transportation package.
The new features are live on their website and at oyster.tours. Tickets are $150 per person for the 90-minute tour that includes a boat ride through the marshes of the ACE Basin. In July only, locals can receive $50 off by using the discount code LOCALCHS.
After a successful launch of its farm tour program last year, Lowcountry Oyster Company is meeting demand by adding a 12:30 pm time slot on Thursdays and Fridays, as well as the option to add transportation to the farm from the Charleston Visitors Center at 375 Meeting Street. The company plans on increasing tours to four days per week by the end of the year.
“We’ve had guests travel from L.A., Montana, New York City, and Canada to visit our farm,” said Trey McMillan, founder of Lowcountry Oyster Co. “We want to share the experience of one of the Lowcountry’s culinary backbones with as many people as possible – including locals.”
