Carnes Crossroads Announces Upcoming Farmers Market Events to Support Local Businesses
Carnes Crossroads today announced their upcoming community Farmers Markets will be held on the fourth Friday of every month and will include over 40 local vendors, live music, and food trucks. The monthly event is a great way to support local farmers, crafters, artisans, musicians, and small business owners.
Each market is free and open to the public.
“This is a great way to connect the neighborhood (our residents and beyond) to one another and to the land,” said Lifestyle Director, Haiven Whitley, who has spearheaded this community initiative. “Living the farm to table lifestyle and physically ‘plant roots’ at Carnes will allow our community to thrive.”
The Farmers Market schedule:
- Friday, July 22nd from 5 pm to 8 pm
- Friday, August 26th from 5 pm to 8 pm
- Friday, September 23rd from 4 pm to 8:30 pm
- Fall Festival Farmers Market
- October 28th from 5 pm to 8 pm
Each event will be held in the Carnes Crossroads Village Green located at 513 Wodin Place in Summerville.
