The Chaplaincy Names First Responder of the Year

Dorchester County Dept. Emergency Services (DCEMS) paramedic crew chief Will Boyd was named the 2022 Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy First Responder of the Year. Boyd was recognized at the recent 2022 Lowcountry Bottom Fishing Rodeo Captain’s Dinner (right).

“It is our pleasure to present Will with this distinguished honor,” said Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy Executive Director Chaplain Rich Robinson. “His dedication and determination to serve his community is a testament to The Chaplaincy’s mission of light and hope.”

Boyd joined DCEMS in October 2016 and has been a Paramedic Crew Chief since July 2018.
