Itinerant Literate to Host Bookstore Romance Day Event on August 20th

On Saturday, August 20th, Itinerant Literate will celebrate Bookstore Romance Day with several specials and events. Bookstore Romance Day is a day designed to give independent bookstores an opportunity to celebrate romance fiction—its books, readers, and writers—and to strengthen the relationships between bookstores and the romance community. The store will be open from 11 am to 7 pm.

At Itinerant Literate, they’ll be celebrating with in-store specials, a local romance writer showcase, and cocktail hour. See the full details below:

Bookstore Romance Day Specials & Events

• First 15 customers receive a free goodie bag
• 20% off romance-themed blind dates with a book
• Love Is in the Air cocktail demo & sample: 4 pm
• Lowcountry Romance Writers of America Showcase: 4 pm to 6 pm.

Romance Writer Showcase

Members of the local chapter of Romance Writers of America will join the event in the afternoon. Stop by to hear about their books and, for the aspiring romance authors among you, how you can get involved. The writers include:
