Pale Horse CrossFit to Host “Battling Bad Blood” Fundraiser Benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Charleston
On Saturday, October 1st, 2022, Pale Horse CrossFit will host “Battling Bad Blood,” their 5th Annual Fundraiser benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Charleston. The fundraising event will run from 8 am to 1 pm.
Pale Horse CrossFitter, Alex Miller, was diagnosed with Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage II Cancer in 2018. While receiving 12 chemotherapy treatments to fight off the blood disease, Miller continued to attend CrossFit classes and stay as active as possible. He beat cancer and continues to CrossFit throughout Charleston. Over the years, he has also partnered with Charleston gyms to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Charleston. In October 2018, Battling Bad Blood was created.
Everyone – including non-crossfitters – are invited to join the event 1st to help raise funds for blood cancers.
