Beyond BASIC Announces 4th Annual Disc Golf Fundraiser and “Bash Before the Disc” Celebration
Local nonprofit organization Beyond BASIC will host their 4th Annual “Beyond the Disc” disc golf fundraiser and “Bash Before the Disc” celebration in September. The events benefit the Beyond BASIC Life Skills program which helps adults with intellectual disabilities reach their full potential and to contribute meaningfully to society by providing a program that enables independent living skills.
On Friday, September 16th, the “Bash Before the Disc” will take place at the Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company’s green space from 5 pm to 8 pm where there will be live music, a silent auction, and more. On Saturday, September 17th, the disc golf tournament will begin at 8 am at the Sewee Outpost. You can register for the disc golf tournament here.
All contributions given to Beyond BASIC will go towards supporting their programming or providing needs-based tuition for a teammate to attend the life skills program.
