Post House Partners with Chef Cheryl Day for “Treasury of Southern Baking” Brunch on October 1st
Post House, Old Village’s coastal tavern and inn at 101 Pitt Street, will welcome esteemed chef and New York Times bestselling author, Cheryl Day, for a special brunch on Saturday, October 1st. The event is being held in celebration of her new cookbook, Treasury of Southern Baking.
Day, the co-founder of Savannah’s Back in the Day Bakery and a James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef, will collaborate with Post House chef Nick Wilber to create a menu inspired by her book’s recipes and stories. She’ll be on site to mingle with guests and sign books.
Guests can enjoy a four-course prix-fixe menu featuring confections highlighted in the book with brunch cocktails and other beverages available for purchase. The menu features:
