LTP Mt. Pleasant Hosts Men’s Tennis ATP Challenger Tour
Admission is complimentary with seating available for spectators to watch international, national, and local players compete.
“At LTP, we’ve hosted many different WTA, ITF and national junior tournaments over the years,” said Patrick Hieber, Director of Tennis for the combined LTP facilities. “The community’s appreciation for professional tennis is amazing, so we knew adding a men’s tour element to our resume for the Lowcountry would be vital. From top seeded Australian player Jordan Thompson to University of South Carolina alumnus and 2019 NCAA singles champion Paul Jubb, the depth of talent is amazing. Add in young Americans Brandon Holt and Emilio Nava, both of whom had spectacular runs at the US Open this year, and this event will provide fans to have an impressive, front row view of players from around the world and perhaps the next US Open Champion.”
LTP Mount Pleasant is a haven for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and is located at 1513 Mathis Ferry Road. As a family-friendly sports complex, LTP offers nine clay courts, seven hard courts, and two pickleball courts with full outdoor lighting. LTP Mount Pleasant is the home of a high-performance junior academy, Pate Academy, the LTP Pro Player Development Program with several WTA and ATP players training there full-time, the Synchronicity Wellness Center and also the Wahoo Aquatic Club.
