Crews Subaru has signed on as presenting sponsor of the third-annual Recovery Jam, a local benefit concert with a mission to raise funds for Lowcountry recovery programs.
Recovery Jam presented by Crews Subaru will take place on Saturday, October 1st at the Isle of Palms Exchange Club from 5:00-10:00 PM and feature several local musicians and artists, in an effort to celebrate local creatives in active, self-supporting recovery.
“We’re so thrilled to have the charitable support of Crews Subaru. It’s really important that those who need it most see all of the resources they have available to get help, and that includes local businesses that will support them along the way,” says Ray Spellererg, Founder and Board Chair of Recovery Jam.
Along with local talent, Recovery Jam is proud to host GRAMMY® Award and 3-time GLAMA nominee, Mary Gauthier. Gauthier, whose 2019 album ‘Rifles and Rosary Beads’ was nominated for Best Folk Album, will visit Charleston by way of her hometown, Nashville, TN.
Recovery Jam’s philanthropic arm is to provide contributions to local recovery programs in the Charleston area. This year’s beneficiary is the Magdalene House of Charleston, a womens-only residency program located in Summerville.
“We’re driven by giving back. The Crews family is blessed to live in Charleston, and to do business here. Simply put: we believe that giving back is the right thing to do. We are more than a car dealer. We understand that recovery is a day to day process, and we are honored to help those wanting to change their path,” said Crews’ Marketing & Events Guy, Ken French.
You can learn more about the event by visiting www.recoveryjamchs.com or Recovery Jam Facebook. Tickets are $30 plus fees now through September 31st and $35 plus fees at the door.
