Dorchester County Announces Updates on County Services

Dorchester County Convenience Sites
The following convenience sites will be open on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sandy Pines Yard Debris Convenience Site: 374 Sandy Pines Lane
- Givhans Convenience Site: 1548 Givhans Road
- Ridgeville Convenience Site: 258 Cambell Thicket Road
- Knightsville Convenience Site: 1941 Central Avenue
- Harleyville Convenience Site: 455 Seven Mile Road
- Geddisville Convenience Site: 467 Geddisville Road
- St. George Convenience Site: 5365 Memorial Blvd.
- Grover Convenience Site: 3551 Wire Road
- Highway 61 Convenience Site: 1344 Beech Hill Road
- Rosinville Convenience Site: 321 Deep Woods Road
- Oakbrook Convenience Site: 235 Old Fort Drive (no construction debris will be accepted)
- Reevesville Convenience Site: 312 Myers Road
The following Convenience Site will be open on Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sandy Pines Yard Debris Convenience Site: 374 Sandy Pines Lane

*Due to flooding, the Miles Jamison Road Yard Debris Convenience Site (130 Suburban Ln.) will be closed until further notice.
Dorchester County Parks
All Dorchester County Parks will open at 12:00 p.m. and resume normal operating hours.

Dorchester County Animal Control
Dorchester County Animal Control is unable to respond to calls for service except for animal emergencies as Dorchester Paw’s Pet Support Service Department (intake office) will be closed Wednesday, September 28, through Saturday, October 1, 2022.
