Join Mount Pleasant Towne Centre for Costumes, Candy, and Community at the Annual Fall Festival

Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is celebrating autumn with its Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 29th, from noon to 3 pm. The community is invited to wear costumes and join the Towne Centre for an afternoon filled with treats.

Guests are encouraged to come dance to live music, visit with the local vendors, enjoy cocktails and bites and, of course, participate in trick-or-treating. The annual Pet Costume Contest is also back for an adorable showing of the season’s best-dressed pets with amazing prizes.

Radio personality Richard Todd will host the afternoon’s festivities. Additionally, The Jig Wiggler Trio will be playing a blend of Rock, Country, and Blues. There will also be interactive dance activities for the kids with Heart Beatz Dance Academy.

Beginning at noon, owners can register their pets for the Pet Costume Contest. Registration is $10 per pet and categories include Best Duo, Most Topical/Trending, Best Homemade Costume, Best Inanimate Object, and Funniest Costume. All proceeds will directly benefit the Charleston Animal Society. At 2 pm, guests can settle in under The Oaks and watch the competition.

Various arts and crafts tables will be stationed around the Towne Centre, including bubble therapy, face painting, spin art, and glitter tattoos. Trick-or-treating stations will also be open for kids to show off their costumes and fill their bags with candy. Sips and bites will be available from participating restaurants including Burtons Grill, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Zimo’s Gyros, Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, New Dog Hot Dog, Holy City Popcorn, Madrigals Tacos, The Taternator,  Life Raft Treats and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
