CHS Hort Fall Garden Tour Returns November 6th

Published

on

Each year, the Charleston Horticultural Society (CHS Hort) ventures away from downtown Charleston to highlight the best gardens in the surrounding community. This November, they are heading over the bridge to Mount Pleasant and showcasing four private gardens in Olde Park and six private gardens and the community garden in I’On. The tour is self-guided with knowledgeable and enthusiastic CHS Hort trained docents in each garden to answer your questions and ensure you don’t miss a single detail of these special gardens.

This year’s tour will be on Sunday, November 6th, from 11 am to 3 pm. Guests will view a wide variety of garden sizes and styles on this self-paced tour and may tour the gardens in any order.

Tour tickets are $50 for CHS Hort Members and $60 for non-members and may be purchased online at https://www.chashortsoc.org/hort-store/p/2022falltour. Wristbands and brochures will be available for pickup at the CHS Hort office at 46 Windermere Blvd. on November 3rd and 4th, from 9 am to 3 pm, or you can pick up tour packets starting at 10:15 am on the day of the tour at O’Quinn School on 761 S. Shelmore Blvd in Mount Pleasant.

Day of ticket sales will also be at O’Quinn School on 761 S. Shelmore Blvd in Mount Pleasant starting at 10:15 am until 1:30 pm. There is parking available at O’Quinn and the walk to all gardens is 2 miles. Guests may also park  at marked street parking in the neighborhoods if they do not wish to walk.
