Charleston County Shares Details on Affordable Housing Gap Financing Grant Program

For-profit and non-profit organizations can now apply for up to $2 million in funding for the development of affordable rental and for-sale housing through Charleston County’s Affordable Housing Gap Financing Grant Program. Applications are available at https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/CHARLESTONCOUNTYSC/Participant, and the deadline to apply is November 11, 2022. Applicants must comply with all provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the U.S. Department of Treasury guidance on ARPA funding, including specific guidance on affordable housing. Information on ARPA funding can be found at:
