Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) is continuing Play Pokémon GO at the Library at Cane Bay Library, located at 1655 Cane Bay Blvd., Ste. A, in Summerville. The program will be Monday through Saturday through November. Customers are encouraged to complete weekly challenges. Monday, November 7th, 2022 challenges for the week are: Feed Your Buddy and Take the Library’s Gym. Once a customer completes a challenge they will receive a button. If a customer completes both challenges, they will receive a button and enter a drawing to choose next week’s button.

Play Pokémon GO at the Library requires parents to create accounts for children below the age of 13. Individuals 13 and older can create their own account.

“November starts off Cane Bay’s new Pokemon GO passive program,” said Anna Dunbar of the Cane Bay Library. “Customers can complete challenges once a week to receive a custom button and enter a drawing to decide the next week’s button. We are excited to interact with our customers in Pokémon GO and reward the use of a popular app that promotes exercise and visiting local landmarks.”
