Nana’s Seafood & Soul on Friday announced that after over a decade of serving the Charleston community, the restaurant will close their North Charleston location (also known as Nana’s Uptown) for good on November 20th. The original Nana’s opened in 2011 at 176 Line Street and added this location in 2019. The downtown restaurant shuttered in 2020.

Although the eatery is closing, some of their most popular items will still be available after November 20th. According to Eater Carolinas, the owners will keep their food trailer active and plan on bottling the Nana’s sauce and pineapple tea.

The restaurant shared the news on social media, saying:

“The Owners & Staff Of Nana’s Seafood & Soul Would Like To Thank Each & Everyone Who Has Supported And Been A Major Factor In Our Success For The Past 12 Years. It Has Been A Pleasure & A Honor Serving & Catering To Your Needs. We Will Be Officially Closing Our Uptown Location November 20 2022. We Thank You Again & Appreciate Your Business.”

You can visit Nana’s at 5117 Dorchester Road before it closes.
