Dorchester County Announces Closures in Observance of Veterans Day

In observance of Veterans Day, all Dorchester County Administrative Offices and County Courts will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022.

Emergency Medical Services and law enforcement personnel will remain available.

Convenience sites (except the Miles Jamison site) will open at 7:00am on Veterans Day Friday but may close at 12:00pm due to the effects of Tropical Storm Nicole. Please visit DorchesterCountySC.gov/GarbageRecycling for convenience sites operating hours.

Dorchester County offices and courts will resume normal business hours on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Dorchester County is proud to honor and thank all military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
