Little Palm to Transform into Little Pine for Festive Fun this Holiday Season

Little Palm, a bar and restaurant named among Esquire’s Best Bars in America in 2022, will transform into Little Pine, an immersive winter pop-up experience, from November 23rd, 2022 to February 15th, 2023. In addition to holiday décor with a tropical flair and festive food and beverage offerings, the pool deck will make guests think they traveled to the North as it will be decorated with pine trees, winter lights, and cozy cabins. Little Pine will also be hosting a Polar Plunge Series.

“Guests will light up when they see Charleston’s favorite tropical bar transformed into a winter getaway,” said Adam Jimenez, general manager, food & beverage, at The Ryder Hotel. “We hope friends and family will gather to celebrate the season with us at Little Pine.”

Festive cocktails like the “Call It a Night” (Absolut vodka, cold brew coffee, cacao, and miso butterscotch) and the “Flamingo All the Way” (a champagne punch served in a golden flamingo that serves 2-4) will be offered in addition to Little Palm’s existing menu of craft cocktails. Chocolate fondue will be offered in addition to Little Palm’s seasonal menu.

The cozy cabins can be found outside, surrounding The Ryder’s custom pool. Available by reservation for two to six guests, the cabins will be adorned in festive décor by Wheelhouse Innovations and include table service by the Little Pine team. Each cabin requires a reservation and is available for rent daily for 2-hours, beginning at 11 am. Cabin reservations will be available for lunch, dinner, and late-night bites. Reservations are available through Resy, but walk-ins are welcome.

Little Pine will kick things off on November 23rd with their first event of the Polar Plunge Series. In partnership with Chubbies and Pernod Ricard, Little Pine will encourage guests to take a plunge in the chilly pool for a chance to win a Chubbies prize bag. Awards will be handed out to the guest with the best belly flop, who stays in the pool the longest, and the crowd favorite. Guests can also shop the Cubbies pop-up, offering Chubbies shorts, tops, hoodies and more, on the hotel’s mezzanine.
