Local Band to Celebrate Song Release with Performance at Rusty Bull Brewing
Charleston-based band Uncle Tim’s Bench (UTB) will commemorate its first full-band studio release, “One Hit Wonder,” on December 1st at Rusty Bull Brewing.
“Years of singing and strumming and sculpting material are culminating with a world class studio release and a concert to celebrate,” said frontman Tim Falvey.
Although a milestone for UTB, the release and the concert are not their finish line.
“Still barely the beginning,” Falvey said. “We share the passion, vision, and wherewithal to develop more comprehensive studio productions – and the time may be right for Uncle Tim’s Bench to become a mainstream folk-rock fixture.”
Several local musicians united to record the single with producer Manny Galvez. Accompanying Falvey is lead guitarist Michael Duff, classically trained composer and singer-songwriter Kevin Cheek, drummer Lou Gonzalez, and multi-instrumentalist Grant Wenzel.
Joining Falvey on stage at Rusty Bull on December 1st will be Wenzel and Gonzalez. Carter Windham and OldSoul will open the performance. Tickets can be purchased here.
