Traffic Alert: Nighttime Lane and Intersection Closures on Glenn McConnell Parkway

Crews will close the right westbound lane on Glenn McConnell beginning Thursday, December 8th and the intersection of Mary Ader beginning Sunday, December 11th for paving work. Closures will take place from 7 pm to 6 am and are scheduled to take at least two nights to complete.

• Drivers coming from Mary Ader Avenue will be rerouted down Shelby Ray Court and onto Goodwill Way to access Glenn McConnell Parkway.
• Drivers trying to access Mary Ader Avenue from Glenn McConnell Parkway will need turn onto Goodwill Way and take Shelby Ray Court.
• Motorists are asked to use extra caution while driving through the construction area.

The Glenn McConnell Parkway Widening Project includes improvements along an approximately 2.1-mile section of Glenn McConnell Parkway starting near Magwood Drive to the intersection with Bees Ferry Road.
