High Tide Music & Arts Festival to Return in June 2023
High Tide today announced it will return to Charleston on June 3rd, 2023, at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. The adults-only (21+) music and arts festival made its Charleston debut this past summer. The event features international touring headliners, a silent disco, VIP lounges, live art installations, a food & beverage garden with the area’s most popular food trucks, and the High Tide City Market with over a dozen vendors, and an in-festival barber shop.
“We could not be happier with our debut in Charleston this past summer and are so excited to return in 2023,” said High Tide founders and event organizers, Edward Holt and Nick Randise. “Our inaugural festival was amazing and we are taking things to the next level, because that is what Charleston deserves – bigger names on the mainstage, more onsite experiences, and nearly doubling our attendance to 6,000 people – but our main focus remains to keep things tailored to the attendee experience.”
In addition to the festival, High Tide announced they will be hosting a full weekend of experiences throughout Charleston including a welcome party, cocktail hour, yoga, health and wellness sessions, after parties, and other events at local venues from Thursday through Sunday.
“Charleston is the best city in America, hands down,” Randise said. “We look forward to welcoming even more people from across the country to experience the beauty of the southeast coastline and fall in love with all that Charleston has to offer through our events.”
In 2022, High Tide was able to be a single-use plastic-free festival and diverted over 4,300 lbs. of waste from the landfill through in-festival compost and recycling operations.
“We are doubling down on our sustainability mission, aligning with local and global partners to work alongside our team to set the precedent for live events,” Holt said.
