SC Works Trident, Regional Partners to Host ‘New Year, New Career’ Job Fair

SC Works Trident will host a ‘New Year, New Career’ Job Fair in partnership with the SC Department of Social Services, Berkeley County Government, Berkeley County School District and Berkeley County Economic Development. The event, designed to target local high school students entering the job market following graduation, will take place on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Berkeley County Administration Building, located at 1003 N. Highway 52 in Moncks Corner.

The Job Fair will take place in two parts:

  • From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event will be open exclusively to Berkeley County High School students. Pre-registration is required for this portion of the event. Students interested in attending should contact their guidance counselor or academy coach to pre-register (required) and receive a permission slip to have signed.

  • From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., the event will be open to the general public. Registration is not required for this portion of the event.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from representatives of a variety of regional employers and may be invited to participate in job interviews on-the-spot. To facilitate the interview process, attendees are encouraged to come prepared with an up-to-date resume.

The following employers will be represented at the Feb. 1 Job Fair: Berkeley County Government, Berkeley County Schools, Albany International, SC Works Trident, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department, Roper St. Francis Healthcare, W International, Healthcare Connects, Century Aluminum, Berkeley Electric, Steel Technologies, OL Thompson Construction, Sanders Brothers Construction, SC DSS, Chick-Fil-A, Volvo, Thorne, Nexans and more.
