LA HORA DEL CUENTO EN ESPAÑOL REGRESA A LA BIBLIOTECA DE HANAHAN / Spanish Storytime Returns to Hanahan Library

Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) and Hanahan Library invite children ages * birth to 5 years to visit Saturday February 11th, from 10 am to 10:30 am and listen to their favorite stories, in Spanish, told by volunteers with dancing, singing, and tons of fun.

Research indicates that children who are immersed in their native language, through conversations, stories, and songs, will have an easier time learning to read in their second language.

“You are all invited to the Spanish Storytime with Ms. Paula, Vice President of Círculo Hispanoamericano de Charleston,” said Kirstin Steele, Branch Librarian. “Ms Paula will be reading from the book Mis Abuelos y Yo / My Grandparents by Samuel Caraballo.”

*Additional ages are welcome!
