Danny McBride’s Super Bowl Commercial Filmed in Mt. Pleasant

Actor, writer, and Charleston area resident Danny McBride was featured in a Downy television commercial that aired during yesterday’s Super Bowl. The ad, which you can see below, was filmed in the I’On neighborhood of Mt. Pleasant.

In the spot, McBride is now calling himself “Downy McBride” and recklessly rides a golf cart around the streets of I’On while shooting canisters of Downy Unstopables to neighbors with a T-shirt gun.
