Charleston Friends of the Library Welcomes New Board Members

The Charleston Friends of the Library (CFOL) announces the appointment of seven to the board of directors. This brings the number of board members to sixteen.

  • Breyonna Davis, Logistics Planner, Bosch

  • Ulani DeCillis, Triage Nurse, Holy City Med Urgent and Primary Care

  • Gail Golightly, Retired – Vice President of Book Sales

  • Jaclyn “Jackie” Henderson

  • Becca Hiester, Director of Education and Programs, Gibbes Museum of Art

  • Rick Kates, Passionate About Giving Back and Enjoying Life

  • Della “Doddie” Marshall

  • Lauri J. Moffett, Retired

  • Susan Wahlberg, Retired – Sorting Room Liason

“Our newly elected board members bring a wealth of expertise and interests to the ranks of the CFOL Board. I am very excited about the contributions they will make to our efforts to support the Charleston County Public Library (CCPL),” said President Carin Jorgensen. “Beyond bringing a high level of energy and enthusiasm, they also motivate those of us who have been serving on the board to continue bringing our ‘A’ game to our volunteer service.”

About: The CFOL is a non-profit volunteer organization that raises money through book sales to help fund library services, equipment, training, materials, and public programming. The Friends collect and sort books donated from the community for resale to raise money. charlestonlibraryfriends.org
