The Loutrel to Host Rooftop Pickleball Tournament

The Loutrel hotel in downtown Charleston will host a rooftop pickleball tournament in collaboration with Short Court Sports, a local pickleball apparel and equipment brand, and Addison Bay, an activewear brand, on Sunday, March 26th from 4 pm to 7 pm.

With views of the Ravenel Bridge overlooking Charleston’s historic district, The Loutrel’s rooftop will be transformed into a pickleball lovers paradise, fully outfitted with a regulation-size pickleball court and custom Short Court Sports x The Loutrel-branded paddles. Attendees are invited to participate in open play at their leisure with pickleball professionals on hand to provide tips, demonstrate proper form, and referee the games.

Interested in simply being a spectator? No problem, botanical cocktails and light bites from the hotel’s Veranda Lounge, along with a $25 gift card to Addison Bay, and a pop-up shop by Short Court Sports, will offer activities for all.

The event will culminate in an exhibition match between certified pickleball professionals.

• 4 pm to 6 pm: Open Court
• 6:30 pm: Pros exhibition match
