Slightly Stoopid and Sublime with Rome to Perform at the North Charleston Coliseum in August
On Thursday, August 3rd, Slightly Stoopid and Sublime with Rome will perform at the North Charleston Coliseum with special guests Atmosphere & The Movement. The show is slated to start at 5 pm. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 am.
Slightly Stoopid has released nine studio albums, including their most recent record, 2018’s Everyday Life, Everyday People. The group has been praised for their multi-instrumental, cross-genre blend of rock, reggae, folk, and blues with hip-hop, punk, and funk elements.
The band consists of multi-instrumentalists and founding members Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty, drummer Ryan “Rymo” Moran, percussionist Oguer “OG” Ocon, saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz, keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft, and trumpet and trombone player Andy Geib.
Sublime with Rome features Eric Wilson, Sublime’s original bassist, singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez, and drummer Carlos Verdugo. The band plays a mix of classic Sublime songs and new, original material. The original Sublime went on hiatus after their lead singer Bradley Nowell died in 1996. The two remaining members, Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh, enlisted Ramriez’s help to bring Sublime back on the road. The group changed it’s name to Sublime with Rome in 2010 and Gaugh departed in 2011.
