Press Release

EO Charleston, the Lowcountry’s local chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global organization representing 17,500 entrepreneurs from more than 60 countries, and EO Charlotte have partnered together to bring the world-renowned EO Accelerator program to Charleston-area entrepreneurs wanting to scale their businesses to $1 million in revenue.

EO’s Accelerator program is a nonprofit learning program designed to empower entrepreneurs with the tools, accountability and community to aggressively grow and master their business. The program is designed to equip first-stage entrepreneurs with revenue between $250,000 and $900,000 with the tools to grow their business beyond $1 million in revenue and provide a path to joining a  local EO chapter. EO Charleston’s program will be chaired by Jeff Luther, president of Home-Probe Inc. and EO Atlanta Accelerator Program graduate.

“As a program graduate, I am thrilled to lead others on this transformative and enlightening journey,” said Luther. “The program is an invaluable tool for business owners seeking growth, and I cannot wait to watch as our community thrives because of this partnership with EO Charlotte.”

EO Charlotte has a robust Accelerator and allows Charleston-area entrepreneurs to participate in four quarterly in-person sessions with entrepreneur peers from a variety of industries.

The program’s content focuses on the four pillars of running and growing a successful business – strategy, execution, cash and people – with the following features:

  • Four full-day learning events planned quarterly, facilitated by EO members

  • Monthly accountability group meetings focused on goal-setting and peer accountability led by an EO member

  • Use of EO goal-setting and tracking tools

  • Access to local and global EO events

“We are beyond excited to create this entrepreneurial accelerator partnership between Charlotte and Charleston,” shared Bryan Delaney, EO Charlotte’s EO Accelerator president. “This program has great potential to be a win-win for both cities by fostering collaboration, sharing resources and accelerating growth and innovation in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of each city.”

Program registration is now open for qualifying owners or founders of an operating business with gross yearly revenue between $250,000 to $1 million. Tuition is $2,450 per participant plus a $500 local fee from EO Charleston, with fees pro-rated from the start date through June 30 to align with a fiscal year of July 1 to June 30.
