Lowcountry Nonprofit Announces Spring 2023 Lineup for Coffee House Variety Show
The Mount Pleasant Community Arts Center has announced the Spring 2023 lineup for their Coffee House Variety Show. Each show includes everything from improv to stand-up and live music.
Lead by master of ceremonies Clyde Moser, the show’s top performers include Charleston’s Ann Caldwell (right); the Loosefitt Jazz Ensemble, the innovative pop-up opera antics of Small Opera Company; ballroom dancer James Jiang; pianist Kay Thorn; and singer/ dancer Emily Gracie Miller of the Gracie and Lacy duo.
The next show will be held on Tuesday, April 25th at Alhambra Hall on the Charleston Harbor. The program runs from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
A 501 (C)(3) non-profit corporation, the Mount Pleasant Community Arts Center’s (MPCAC) mission is to strengthen access to the arts by supporting the artist and raising awareness in the community. The vision of MPCAC is to create a dynamic space in which performing, literary and visual artists may practice and present their work to the communities East of the Cooper.
