Daddy’s Breakfast & Espresso Food Truck Now Open

Daddy’s Breakfast & Espresso Food Truck this week announced its grand opening. The area’s newest mobile eatery says their signature items are breakfast sandwiches and baby cakes (fried chicken wrapped in a pancake). Their other protein options include bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo, and pork roll.

Owners Kristina Ogden and Brian England said they are thrilled to share their love of breakfast food with the community. The duo has worked to bring their vision to life, and with Mary Langebartel as the kitchen manager, they are confident that their customers will be impressed with the quality and taste of their offerings. 

“We wanted to offer something different, something that wasn’t available in Charleston,” Ogden said. “Coffee is a ritual for us and we are big breakfast enthusiasts. We’re excited to bring our passion for delicious food to the people of Charleston.” 

They will also offer Counter Culture Coffee. You can find espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and americanos, in addition to a seasonal option. Right now, Daddy’s seasonal coffee is a delightful orange cold foam cold brew. 

Daddy’s Food Truck can be found at the Citadel Mall from 7 am to noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and at a number of events throughout the Charleston area.
