Registration is required and begins at 11 am on Saturday, May 6th at berkeleylibrarysc.libcal.com/event/9773515 for limited seating.
Burtt, who is a Cooperative Extension Area Horticulture Agent, will discuss native plants and their Lowcountry location. He coordinates the Tri-County Master Gardener program and assists homeowners and Nurseries with technical support.
“Native Plants (And where to find them) – With all the talk about planting Native Plants, the question then is, ‘Exactly what does that mean, and where can one find them?’,” said Burtt. “We will discuss what Native Plants are, which ones are more easily grown and where they are often found here in the Lowcountry.”
