Middleton Made Knives and Pappy & Company Unveil Second Iteration of Custom-Made Knives

Published

Middleton Made Knives and Pappy & Company today announced the launch of their highly anticipated Chef Knife, which is crafted from retired Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels. Following the success of the duo’s first collaborative launch, the teams have united once again to create a unique high-end chef’s knife.

“I am honored to partner with Pappy & Co. for the second time,” said Quintin Middleton of Middleton Made Knives. “As a craftsman, I am always looking to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, and I feel the Chef Knife honors both companies’ passions for quality, detail, and supreme precision in the kitchen.”

The knife, which is crafted in St. Stephen, is a functional all-purpose chef’s knife that the companies say is ideal for slicing, dicing, and chopping. The 8” knife features a custom Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrel stave handle and a durable, handcrafted high-carbon steel blade.

“Our partnerships always come from a friendship or personal connection,” said Carrie Greener, Pappy & Co. Co-Founder, “We connected with Quintin’s kind spirit right away. It was apparent he’s found success from his strong passion for his craft. Taking our retired barrels and reinventing them into something new, a piece as practical as it is beautiful, inspired this collaboration. I know Quintin appreciates being able to incorporate that element into his knives.”

The Chef Knife is currently available for purchase exclusively on Pappy & Company’s website. For additional information on the collaboration between Middleton Made Knives and Pappy & Company, follow each team on Instagram at @middletonmadeknives or @pappyandco.
