Paradiso Charleston Announces Sneak Peek on June 15th

On Thursday, June 15th, Success Street Hospitality, a local firm owned and operated by local resident Boris Van Dyck, will host a sneak peek of Paradiso, a family-friendly private membership club in North Charleston. The event comes after a significant rebranding and revitalization of the former Mixson Bath & Racquet Club which the hospitality group acquired earlier this year. 

Success Street Hospitality’s comprehensive transformation of the former Mixson Bath & Racquet Club included a structural and cosmetic overhaul of the pool deck and cabanas, event lawn, locker rooms, fitness and wellness center, and the Market, which opened in May 2023. Most recently, Success Street Hospitality has completed the revitalization of the restaurant at Paradiso, complete with poolside menus and specialty cabana offerings.

The restaurant’s new food menu, curated by Patricia Van Hoorick, is inspired by the flavors of French and Carribbean cuisines. Guests can look forward to offerings like Tuna Tartar with housemade crostini, Shrimp Skewers served with Jasmine Rice and coconut lime sauce, and a Shrimp Roll served on a buttered New England roll, along with a number of specialty menu items.

“It is with great pleasure that we can announce the official opening of Paradiso,” said Van Dyck. “When we started this project, it was our goal to bring an oasis to North Charleston residents and thanks to my team, I think we have finally achieved that.”
