Mex 1 and Warrior Surf Foundation to Host Short Film Premiere Event
The teams behind Mex 1 Coastal Cantina and Warrior Surf Foundation will premiere their surf retreat short film on Saturday, July 22nd at Mex 1’s West Ashley location. The film follows Mex 1 and Warrior Surf traveling to Costa Rica on an ultimate surf retreat with Veteran graduates of the Warrior Surf Program to focus on wellness and enhance their surfing skills. In addition to the film’s premiere, guests can expect live music from Ben Whitney and fun raffle prizes.
Doors will open at 6 pm with the film beginning at dusk. A $10 entry fee will include 10 raffle tickets for the event. Guests can purchase tickets prior to the event, here, or at the door the night of the event. One hundred percent of the raffle proceeds will go back to Warrior Surf Foundation and supporting their next trip.
Warrior Surf Foundation is a non-profit whose mission is to enhance the psychological and physical well-being of Veterans, active duty service members, and their families through the experience of surfing.
