The James to Open on July 17th
The Neighborhood Dining Group (Husk, Delaney Oyster House, Minero) recently announced that The James, an “elevated neighborhood restaurant offering traditional American fare” on James Island, will open for dinner service on Monday, July 17th.
“We can’t wait to bring The James to the residents of James Island,” said David Howard, President of The Neighborhood Dining Group. “It’s a neighborhood restaurant in every sense of the phrase, and our goal is simply to serve the people here. With plenty of parking and seating indoors, outdoors, and at the bar, The James is a place for any occasion.”
On the menu, Executive Chef and Lowcountry native Mark Keiser (formerly at Oak Steakhouse) will showcase contemporary American cuisine. Guests can expect appetizers such as French Onion Soup, Tuna Tartare, Mussels, and Spinach Artichoke Dip; salads from a Spicy Caesar to the West Coast with mandarin, avocado, and peanuts; Crab Cake Sandwiches and a Signature Burger; larger entrées include a Fresh Catch, Shrimp Pasta, Salmon, Pecan Crusted Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, and a selection of a la carte steaks. The James also offers a children’s menu.
The cocktail menu balances classic cocktails with new takes from the bartenders and The Neighborhood Dining Group team. Guests can expect ice cold martinis, wines, craft beers, and a spirits selection, including a whiskey list.
