Lowcountry Rapid Transit to Host Four TOD Community Workshops
Press Release
The Berkeley Charleston Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG) and Lowcountry Rapid Transit (LCRT) will host four public workshops to support the project’s Transit Oriented Development (TOD) planning efforts.
TOD fosters connected and walkable growth options, and BCDCOG is seeking the public’s input to shape how communities near the transit line can most benefit from the introduction of high-quality transit stations.
“Public input is key in shaping the plans and policies that will guide development along the transit line so that it benefits people living, working, and doing business in the corridor today and creates stronger neighborhoods for tomorrow,” said LCRT Project Manager Sharon Hollis.
