The Most Remarkable Hands Played at Televised Poker Events.

In the history of poker, we have seen some memorable gameplay. Professional and amateur players have had the chance to impress us with their gaming skills. On live television poker, there have been several remarkable hands played at popular poker events and broadcasted on TV. These hands have been etched in the history of televised poker and many would not forget them. Some of these remarkable hands are :

Sammy Farha against Chris Moneymaker ( 2003 )

In what has been called the bluff of the century, an amateur Chris made a bold bluff against his opponent, the professional gamer, Sam Farha. With only King- high on the river, Chris Moneymaker went all in, forcing Farha to fold his pair of nines. Moneymaker’s bold bluff led to his memorable victory at the poker event and his name being etched in the history books.

Antonio Esfandiari vs Sam Trickett ( 2012 )

At the Big One for One Drop, a high stake tournament, Antonio Esfandiari battled against Sam Trickett in a poker game and pulled off a remarkable hand that led to his victory. With pocket Aces ( A-A ) he went up against Trickett flush draw.

With his incredible gaming skills, Antonio was able to dodge Trickett’s out and emerged the winner of the pot.

Oliver Hudson vs Sammy Farha

In what has been described as psychological gameplay, these two remarkable gamers gave viewers an interesting play. Oliver Hudson, an actor, battled against the famous Gamer Sammy Farha at a high stake cash game hand.

While Hudson had a straight draw, Farha had a flush draw.  Hudson battled Farha intensely and made a huge bluff in the river. This move forced Farha to fold his draw.

competing against 2 players, Vanessa had pocket queens while her opponents held Jack. The board ran out K ♠ ️-10 ♠ ️-9 ️-Q ♥ ️-2. This allowed Vanessa to have a set of Queens and finally knock out both of her opponents. This hand is one of the best hands played at Televised poker events and showcased Vanessa’s incredible gaming skills and unpredictable gameplay.

Phil Ivey vs Monte Andreas Høivold (2007)

Ivey battled against Danish players at the Monte Carlo Millions. Holding on 5 highs, Ivey called a huge bluff and emerged victorious. This resulted in Høivold folding his hand. This game proved Ivey’s exceptional gaming skills.

Phil Ivey vs Antonius  ( 2010 )

At the  Aussie Millions $250,000 Super High Roller event Phil Ivey went up against Antonius. Once again, Phin Ivey’s remarkable gaming and reading skills brought him to victory. With incredible calls and reads holding only a pair of seven. After calling down several large bets by Antoniis he accurately called Antonios’ bluff with just king-high. Televised poker games have provided us with several memorable hands and unforgettable gameplay between players.
