Rep. Mace Introduces “Cut The Climate Czar’s Carbon” Act

The Cut The Climate Czar’s Carbon Act would, upon passage, ban Federal Funds from being used for the salary of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate or any employee working for them. Furthermore, The Climate Czar and their staff would be barred from using federal funds for travel unless they offset their emissions with personal funds.

“While looking the American people in the eye and accusing them of killing polar bears and ruining the climate, John Kerry, our ‘Climate Czar,’ wastes taxpayer dollars flying all over the world in his private jet while telling you and your family to walk,” said Rep. Mace. “Our taxpayer dollars are not limitless, and this administration would rather flush federal funds down the toilet than use them to address real problems facing the American people. This common-sense cut will be a good start towards addressing the problem.”
