Press Release
Clothing, accessory, and lifestyle brand Ala von Auersperg will host a preview of the Historical Society of Palm Beach’s “Endless Summer” resort wear exhibition at their Church Street store, showcasing the history and inspiration of Palm Beach style and its contribution to resort wear over the years.
A cocktail party in celebration of the exhibit’s weeklong stay in Charleston will be held at the store at 102 Church Street, Charleston, SC 29401 on Thursday, August 10th from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Ala von Auersperg’s breathable, flexible fabrics and paradise-centric prints make them the perfect venue to preview this beautiful exhibit in Charleston. They are thrilled to be hosting the cocktail party alongside the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, The Palm Beaches and The Scout Guide Charleston to celebrate. Swag bags, refreshments and light bites will be provided.
“Endless Summer” is a showcase of the history and present of iconic Palm Beach style and its contributions to resort wear as a concept. Curated by Cameron Silver, a well-known figure in the fashion space with a love for vintage, this exhibition shares the impact of the decades of trendsetters who came to South Florida and shed their layers. The exhibit will be on display in Palm Beach from November through May, but Charlestonians are invited to preview the display from August 7-11, and honor its arrival at the August 10th cocktail party. Additionally, Ala von Auersperg will donate 10% of all sales from that week to the Historical Society of Palm Beach County.
