S.C. Arts Commission Adds Digital Communications Manager

The South Carolina Arts Commission welcomed a new team member to provide constituents with engaging and accurate content via agency social media channels and to bring creative energy to its digital storytelling.

Amelia Dupont of Columbia joins the SCAC team from Kampgrounds of America, where she was a regional marketing manager. She was responsible for managing strategic marketing plans, websites, and social media content for multiple campgrounds. She was also previously a marketing specialist for a Midlands creative firm where she managed social media for seven brands. Her skills include photography, video production, copywriting, email campaigns, and print collateral. Dupont earned a bachelor’s in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina where she majored in visual communications.”

She will continue advancing our social media channels and digital content in a professional way as part of our greater communications strategy. The South Carolina Arts Commission team is happy to welcome her and can’t wait to see how she serves constituents with timely, insightful public information,” SCAC Executive Director David Platts said.
