Kenneth Marolda Announces Candidacy for Charleston City Council – District 9

Kenneth Marolda (above), who owns a local real estate investment firm, on Monday filed to run for the Charleston City Council’s District 9 seat.

Marolda has served on the West Ashley Revitalization Commission since 2020, served as President of the Avondale Civic Club in 2021 and 2022, and co-founded two local 501c3 public charities: West Ashley Connects in 2020 and CHS4Ukraine in 2022.
