Lamar’s Sporting Club to Open This Weekend
Republic Development & Management Group (DMG), a South Carolina-based hospitality group from Lamar and Leva Bonaparte, today announced the opening of Lamar’s Sporting Club will take place this weekend on August 25th and 26th. The venue will open at 9 pm each night.
Lamar’s Sporting Club will be a 2,000-square-foot lounge with dark wood paneling, subdued lighting, leather banquettes and sofas, and cocktail tables. Republic says there will also be antique-inspired elements such as modern-vintage artwork, eclectic bookshelves, and wildlife on display.
The menu will include handcrafted classic cocktails, a selection of premium spirits, beer, wine, and more. Additionally, live entertainment will be available on select days.
Lamar’s Sporting Club can be found at 570 King Street (the former home of 1st Place).
