Charleston County Parks to Close at Noon on Wednesday

Due to weather conditions from Hurricane Idalia, Charleston County Parks (CCP) will close parks and facilities beginning at 12 pm on Wednesday, August 30th and all day Thursday, August 31st. Parks are expected to reopen on Friday, September 1st.

The Campground at James Island County Park will remain open to registered guests only.

Visit the CCP alert center for more information. They will update the page as information on the status of the parks becomes available.
