BCLS Co-Hosting Lawn & Garden Hacks: Propagation
Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) will co-host Lawn & Garden Hacks: Propagation with Christopher Burtt, Clemson University Cooperative Extension Area Horticulture Agent, for Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties, on Thursday, September 14th, 2023 from 1 pm to 2 pm. The event will take place at Goose Creek Library, located at 325 Old Moncks Corner Rd., Goose Creek. Please register at berkeleylibrarysc.libcal.com/event/10864229. Registration opens at 1 pm on August 31st.
Burtt, who is a Clemson University Cooperative Extension Area Horticulture Agent, will discuss propagation. He has worked with Clemson University for over five years with previous experience in nursery and landscaping. He coordinates the Tri-County Master Gardener program and assists homeowners and nurseries with technical support.
“It is exciting to find some of our favorite plants, but what about having more of them?” Burtt asked. “We will discuss the basics of Propagation, as well as demonstrate some basic techniques, for cloning and reproducing some of our favorite plants.”
