Voting for Charleston County’s “I Voted!” Sticker Design Contest Now Open
Public voting for the Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections’ “I Voted!” Sticker Design Contest is ongoing on their Facebook page.
Charleston County students entering grades K-12 were eligible to participate in the contest. Over the course of several weeks, dozens of children in each age group (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) participated by creating and submitting “I Voted!” sticker designs. The board’s executive leadership team then selected five finalists from each of the three age groups.
The top finisher from each group will see their design come to life as “I Voted!” stickers, which will be distributed during this fall’s municipal elections. Online voting for these stickers, which is being conducted through Facebook “likes,” ends at 5 pm on Friday, September 15th, 2023. The winners will be revealed later in the month.
In addition to having their designs be distributed to voters as stickers this fall, the winners will each receive two tickets to a 2024 Charleston RiverDogs home game, two passes to Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, and a $50 gift certificate to D’Allesandro’s Pizza in downtown Charleston.
