Dorchester School District Two to Celebrate Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Steve LaPrad Field on September 15th

Dorchester School District Two will celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Steve LaPrad Field at Bagwell Stadium at Fort Dorchester High School (FDHS) on September 15th at 7 pm.

The FDHS football team will kick off its first home football game this season on the new synthetic turf field. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will honor Coach LaPrad’s incredible 20-year career as head football coach, which is distinguished by these accolades:

• 2015 5A South Carolina State Championship with undefeated season
• 2022 Lower State Champions
• 178 wins
• 7 Region Championships
• 5 Semifinal appearances
• 4 quarterfinal appearances
• More than 90 players signed football scholarships for more than $9.3 million
