Dorchester County to Enhance Emergency Services with Launch of PURVIS
Press Release
Dorchester County is taking a significant step towards enhancing the safety and well-being of its residents by announcing the implementation of PURVIS’ Fire Station Alerting System.
PURVIS is a cutting-edge software solution designed to integrate with the county’s computer-aided dispatch system (CAD), which was also recently replaced through a $1M project funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. PURVIS is designed to streamline emergency response operations by seamlessly connecting our Consolidated Dispatch Center with Fire Rescue and EMS through automated alerts which will enable quicker response times and better resource allocation during emergency situations.
“Dorchester County’s commitment to the safety of our residents remains a priority. PURVIS represents a significant investment in our community’s well-being, enabling us to respond to emergencies more effectively and provide the highest level of care when it matters most,” says Dorchester County Council Chairman Todd Friddle.
