Press Release

Hall Management Group is proud to announce the fifth annual Braggin’ Rights Bash raised $45,000 this year all to benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. The sold-out event returned to Halls Signature Events on Monday, September 18 for another round of culinary and cocktail competition. Culinary teams and mixologists from all nine Hall family restaurants battled it out for a good cause in this head-to-head signature showdown.

“We are blown away by the generosity of our guests and hope everyone enjoyed this year’s event, which we believe is our best one yet,” said Tommy Hall, Proprietor of Hall Management Group. “It’s always an honor to give back to the community and we are proud to donate the proceeds to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, an organization cherished by Hall Management Group. We look forward to Braggin’ Rights Bash every year and are extremely proud of all our culinary teams for making this a memorable experience.”

The late Bill Hall served as a MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital board member and his son, Tommy Hall currently serves on the board.

“Hall Management Group and the Hall family know the value of access to a world-class children’s hospital and women’s pavilion for our community,” said Charles P. Darby, MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital Advisory Board Member. “Their passion and generosity for MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit will help the tiniest patients receive innovative and compassionate care. Families across the state and beyond will benefit from this event by making it possible to purchase essential supplies and equipment vital to these young lives.”

Braggin’ Rights showcases the talents of the Executive Chef, Lead Bartender and teams of each of the nine Hall Management Group restaurants located throughout South Carolina and in Nashville, Tennessee. This year, VIP ticket holders and celebrity judges selected the “blind taste test” winners while event guests voted for the “people’s choice” which ultimately decided who claimed the highly sought after Braggin’ Rights championship title. The winning cocktail will earn a spot on all Halls menus. Here is the list of the 2023 Braggin’ Rights Bash winners:

  • Best Cocktail (Blind Taste Test) – Halls Chophouse Columbia
  • Best Cocktail (People’s Choice) – Halls Chophouse Charleston
  • Best Dish (Blind Taste Test) – High Cotton
