Press Release

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is counting down the first autumn leaf to launch this year’s selection of pumpkin spice and everything nice cocktails and seasonal food specials. From brunch to midday cocktails, Ruby Slipper has a sweet selection of new flavors that will make your mouth water starting September 27th and available until November 28th.

Pumpkin Marshmallow Beignets – The staple pastry of New Orleans is reimagined with pumpkin cheesecake, praline sauce and marshmallow crème topped with spiced candied pecans and powdered sugar.

Pumpkin Marshmallow Stuffed French Toast – A classic breakfast dish gets a creative makeover. Prepared with brioche French bread and – here’s the fun part — stuffed with pumpkin cheesecake covered in praline sauce, marshmallow crème, candied pecans and powdered sugar. This French toast is out of this world.

Apple Pie Pancakes – As American as … well, you know. These pancakes are sure to be the craveable creation of the fall. Cinnamon sugar pie crust, house-made apple pie filling, apple vanilla crème, whipped cream and powdered sugar on top of sweet cream pancakes will have you falling head over heels.

Creole Cochon Tacos – For those looking for a savory meal, these tacos made with slow-cooked apple-braised pork, bacon onion jam, creole slaw, pico de gallo and pickled red onions should hit the spot.

Pumpkin Spice Latte – This fall classic with French truck espresso, pumpkin spiced oat milk, whipped cream and pumpkin spice is the creamy, smooth drink you’ve been waiting for all year.

For guests looking for a “boozy brunch,” Ruby Slipper has two festive fall drinks as well.

Fall Fiesta Rita – With Pueblo Viejo 100% agave tequila, triple sec, housemade pumpkin syrup, fresh lime juice and pumpkin spice salt, this autumn-inspired take on the classic margarita is an autumn dream come true.

Cranberry Pumpkin Mimosa – The perfect brunch drink, the cranberry pumpkin mimosa comes with a generous pour of sparkling wine with house-made pumpkin syrup and cranberry juice.

“We enjoyed bringing classic fall flavors to life with a Ruby Slipper twist no less,” Ruby Slipper CEO Elizabeth McGee said. “It’s a treat to highlight our NOLA roots with features like Pumpkin Marshmallow Beignets.”

The original Ruby Slipper Café opened in New Orleans over 14 years ago and has since expanded with Ruby Slipper and Ruby Sunshine locations across Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. To learn more, visit rubybrunch.com.
